Crimea - the lack of water and the lack of heating gas.
I read a long time ago, Ukraine took Crimea from Russia. And now Russia has taken Crimea back. I have no idea who should have the area. What I have learned is the land is not so great in itself. The gas needed to create heat comes from Russia and the water for life coms from the territory on the mainland just north of Crimea on the mainland of Ukraine. Crimea is a bit of an island. So whenever anyone feels the" wrong" has been done, they cut off what they see as important.

During the spat of who get the Crimea territory, both sides have had to deal with specific challenges. We know one person who was not impressed with the changes and simply sold the rental property they had in the area. But so many have had to make huge changes in life as the aggression between Russia and Ukraine is uncomfortable.
One thing Russia did, in the beginning, over the course of a year they built a huge bridge connecting Crimea to the mainland of Russia. So for the water problem, why don't they simply pump it from the Russian mainland? I learned the land on the mainland side, where Russia has the bridge connecting has very little water as well. So it's a tough spot. I did just read that the second bridge next to the auto bridge, the train bridge has been completed, and the fist train "Crimea Rail" delivered a load of freight to Crimea.
Currently, Ukraine has forbad persons of Ukraine to go to Crimea. The bickering going back and forth is never-ending it seems. And it would be nice if Ukraine would turn on the water supply, but it seems they will not. So if your going to Crimea, brings lots of water.
